The Candidate  

 

This is a great opportunity for someone who has some experience working in an online media company. We’re looking for a candidate who will be able to contribute by utilising their knowledge of the online world to quickly gain a full understanding of  internal trafficking processes and propriety ad serving system. This person will work closely with Sales and Account Management on planning, managing and optimising interactive advertising campaigns. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, interested in online advertising and web technologies.

 

Responsibilities  

 

Work with Commercial Director and team to ensure department runs smoothly.

Work with Sales and Account Managers to develop and schedule campaigns for full delivery.

Ensure that online ad campaigns are booked into the ad server in a timely and accurate manner.

Interact with advertisers for trafficking, reporting, invoicing issues and creative development.

Review/QA creatives to ensure that publisher specifications are met.

Work with advertisers to promptly resolve/troubleshoot any issues that may arise.

Assist with traffic questions, coordinate with departments as needed.

Assist in the monitoring of campaigns to ensure delivery.

Analyse, optimise and reallocate inventory to appropriate media placements.

Conduct ad hoc analysis reports when needed.

Assist with ad creative development.

 

Experience

 

Highly organised, extremely detail-oriented, and able to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment.

Strong analytical skills for campaign analysis and optimisation.

Superior verbal and written communication skills, specifically within a technical environment as it relates to online ad technology.

Must be self-motivated and pay meticulous attention to detail.

Excellent interpersonal skills and a comfort in working within a team.

Solid experience with Microsoft Excel skills and Word.

Experience with ad server programs (DART ad tech, OAS, Accipiter, Falk, Mediaplex, Atlas, etc) software a plus.

Basic understanding of HTML, JavaScript and Macromedia Flash recommended.

Experience in online advertising industry, web culture and targeted consumer demographic is highly desired.
