Our Client is an exciting and pioneering technology start-up, already establishing themselves as the most innovative player within the consumer technology space and they are just getting started!

 

The role may suit a candidate with previous experience as a Head of Innovation, Head of Digital or an Account Director position in the mobile payment space looking to work for an exciting start up company.  This is a truly unique opportunity available to the right candidate. They specialise in QR codes and barcode scanning application for smart phones & PDAs, allowing consumers to engage with print campaigns and products. For businesses, this is an offline campaign measurement tool and new customer acquisition opportunity. This high profile, high impact position requires an individual with vast experience within the digital/technology space, who can also work comfortably at Board level to directly influence and plan their future. The role will require you to have experience in NFC and have previous experience relating to senior decision makers.  You will have an in-depth knowledge of, and interest in, the ever-changing digital landscape along with and understanding of the newest innovations, platforms and the marketing tools. EMEA & APAC experience preferable, but not essential.

 

Duties will include:

 

  • Keeping your finger on the ‘technology’ pulse, enabling you to continuously educate colleagues and clients
  • Helping to create an environment within which team members can work in a collaborative and constructive way
  • Sustain relationships with clients and set the tone for staff in terms of client servicing expectations
  • Identifying opportunities within new territories and verticals
  • Representing the business at conferences and exhibitions around the world

You should have :

 

  • Significant thought leadership about the digital, including proven track record of blogging and/or social media engagement apart from client-specific efforts.
  • Experience with NFC.
  • Strong Managerial experience across different disciplines
  • Experience with mobile telecommunications companies or device manufacturers is likewise desirable.
  • Enthusiasm about Marketing and Customer Engagement
  • Confidence to work autonomously
  • Full proficiency with MS Office and reporting techniques
  • Strong English language skills, both spoken and written
